If you are in the process of planning your new dream home, then there are a few features you may want to be aware of as you customize the home. We hope to provide you with some inspirational ideas to take with you as you design your new home build.
A Well-Equipped Kitchen
When we start talking about what a well-equipped kitchen includes, we need to talk about commercial grade appliances, a beautiful kitchen island, and stylish seating for the entire family to enjoy. With technology advancements, we should also consider how smart appliances and the addition of extra outlets are also important.
Remember, the kitchen is one of the most important and most well-used areas of the home, so you want to be sure that it features everything you need for it to be stylish, functional, and the kitchen of your dreams.
Master Bed and Bath
The master bedroom and bathroom suite is another big area of the home and can actually go a long way in your future resale value as well. In the meantime, these two areas are where you will undoubtedly spend a good majority of your time.
The master bathtub used to serve as the focal point of the master bathroom, but the new trend is creating more of a spa experience. For this, you should consider a freestanding tub that is not on a platform and does not require any steps.
This is where many of us start our day, so we want it to be a place where we can get ready while remaining organized. For a good master closet set-up, you should have ample storage, shelves of varying heights, drawers, and other areas to display your accessories.
With evolving work environments, the home office is becoming an important space in the home. As such, it is important to make sure that this area of the home is equipped with everything you need to get your work done - especially if you work remotely from home the majority of the time.
This is another feature that is growing in popularity for many wine enthusiasts. For this feature, you need to make sure there is plenty of available space in your home design, consider the amount of wine you want to be able to store, if there are other ways you can utilize the space, and of course, your budget.
Whether you have a big or small family, this area of the home is definitely going to get some use either way. We spend a lot of time in our laundry rooms, so we want to create a space that makes sense and allows for a more efficient laundry process. It is also an area where you can keep extra shoes and other stuff you want close by but out of the way.
